Pre-Ballet classes introduce students to the fundamentals of classical ballet training. Students focus on basic ballet technique and terminology, proper body alignment, and musicality. Classes meet once a week.

Pre-Ballet for 4 & 5 Year Olds
Classes are for both girls and boys who turn four or five by September 7, 2013.
Students who turn six before December 31, 2013 should join the Pre-Ballet 6 class.
Classes meet Tuesdays, 9:30-10:20 or Thursdays, 9:30-10:20.
Pre-Ballet for 6 Year Olds
Classes are for both girls and boys who turn six by December 31, 2013.
Classes meet Saturdays, 10:15-11:15.
Pre-Ballet for 7 Year Olds
Classes are for both girls and boys who turn seven by December 31, 2013.
Students who turn eight before December 31, 2013 should audition for the regular school year program.
Classes meet Saturdays, 9:15-10:15 or 11:15-12:15.
Tuition
Pre-Ballet for 4 & 5 year olds: $1,200 for the school year.
Pre-Ballet 6 & 7 year olds: $1,300 for the school year
All students pay a $150 Registration Fee
Registration
No audition is required, but class size is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To request a registration form, please contact the School Office at 415.865.6700 or school@sfballet.org. Registration will begin in late April, 2013.
Pre-Ballet is not a part of the graded curriculum at SF Ballet School and students seeking admission to SF Ballet School Level 1 will be required to audition when they are age-eligible. Students in Pre-Ballet are not eligible for participation in Nutcracker or Student Showcase performances. San Francisco Ballet School reserves the right to cancel class if the minimum enrollment is not met.
